I’d be willing to spend $150 /year if it would keep that tree healthy. It is well suited to line streets in suburban and residential areas, although its shallow roots can buckle sidewalks and driveways and make it difficult to mow surrounding lawns. Recommended only for acidic wet soil conditions with the realization that it may end up being subject to invasive pest soon.
